Why dyslexic people are more successful at business.– A lesson for the rest of us.
A quick search on the web reveals the Following: Some 35% of businesses are owned by dyslexics, which is a large over representation in numbers. They are more likely to be successful and more likely to run multiple businesses.
Sorry, aren’t they the people that have difficulty reading and writing? Well, yes, they are.
Here’s some reasons why they may be successful:
Because they have difficulty with written communication they learn to be better oral communicators.
At a very early age, they learn how to get other people to do things for them. They learn how to delegate to compensate for their weaknesses. So they learn to trust other people to do things.
They can’t do their own books easily, they HAVE to employ someone.
Dealing with negativity in their childhood has made them extraordinarily resourceful in problem solving.
So what’s the lesson for the rest of us– be a bit Dyslexic– delegate the stuff we don’t want to do and trust others to do it.
